Premium Porsche® Oil Services
What is a Lube, Oil & Filter Change?
Your Porsche® deserves the best for its protection, and you can give it with an oil change. An oil change includes a filter replacement to ensure that your engine keeps running smoothly no matter what kind of road conditions or weather comes up. Regular maintenance intervals including lube, oils, and filters ensure smooth performance not just during this service but in all seasons as well!
Engine oil is an essential lubricant for your vehicle’s engine, reducing the amount of friction between its different working components and helping to keep it running smoothly. The engine’s heat creates a cooling effect, as the oil circulates through it. It’s like an air conditioner, just for your engine!
The oil filter catches the debris and contaminants so your engine can run smoothly. When you bring your vehicle in for an oil change, our expert staff will ensure that the engine is clean and properly lubricated. With a new filter installed at every visit, we make sure to keep it running efficiently!
At your next lube appointment with us, don’t forget about replacing the old oil with fresh fuel so that it continues its hard work of taking care of all those parts working behind the scenes.
Why Do I Need a Lube, Oil & Filter Change for my Porsche®?
When oil becomes saturated with contaminants, excess particles are left behind in the engine. This is because over time it will form a thick layer of sludge on top that doesn’t flow freely and lubricates less efficiently as well. The engine will get worn down quickly when there are too many deposits.
The oil’s lubrication will eventually disappear, which may result in an overheating engine and a potential breakdown. With dirty oil, the engine has to work harder and will wear down more quickly.
The dirtier an engine’s fuel is – with particles gumming up its works- it slows things down even further because less of that liquid can flow through at any given time.
How Do I Know it’s Time to Change my Porsche®’s Oil?
The key to good car maintenance is getting your oil changed regularly.
A Porsche® is a finely crafted machine and should be treated as such. Expert Tip: Make sure that you consult the manual for details on what exactly each of those warnings means because they could be really serious!
- If a car’s oil levels are too low, one of these lights might come on.
- Smoke coming out of the exhaust can be an indicator that there is something more serious going on with your car besides just a problem with oil. Inspect it immediately to make sure you are safe!
- Every car-owner knows the sound of a knocking engine. If you hear this, it’s time to make sure that your oil change is up-to-date and keep an eye on any other indications of problems with your vehicle.
- If you notice dirty oil, it is time to get a new one because the old one will no longer be doing its job and might even damage other parts! Your engine oil should be a light, golden color with the slightest translucency. As time passes, the oil in your engine builds up dirt and particles that can cause it to appear darker or more gritty.
